I'm not as active on here anymore but I think of him often still. I miss him all the time. I miss our talks and his confindence in me. Happy birthday Nick, you will never be forgotten.

I ask for forgiveness from the community as I was unable to concentrate enough to make a new art piece for Nick. I will make one but as for now it's still too painful for me. I will however share with you my very personal experience with Nick and how he impacted me in just the short time we knew each other.

My sweet beautiful Nicholas
I made this while my bestie was in the hospital. Little did I know, that it would be the last piece of work he would see from me.
He told me this was the best work that I have ever done, and he was so proud that I was able to do it by myself. He and I worked in pairs for a while, always sending each other our works to critique and see what we needed to change.
He said this was the best I have ever done, and he regretted that he would not be able to comment on it until he had gone home, as he only had his phone with him, glued to his bedside at the hospital, it was hard to get onto da from it. He made sure to fave it so that he would have it for easier access when he got home.
He got to go home for a week, but was in such turmoil and pain that he could not bring himself to turn on his computers. We discussed how he was dreading going on to da to the thousands of messages he was going to have to respond to, as the last he checked, he had something like 10000 messages. Of course, with DA's little spam pop up thing, he figured he would be commenting for about two months before he got caught up.
I couldnt find the right name for a title, and we went back and forth coming up with names, and finally agreed to this.
Little did we both know, that not only was this the last work of mine he would fave, it would be the last work he faved period.
I guess I should take some sort of solace in knowing that this was his last faved piece, but it fucking sucks because now, the title now applies, as he has since left us all.
I still can't speak as many of know how close we were and that he was not only my best friend, he was the other half of me.
A week later, and I still can't accept that he is gone.
I appreciate all of the condolences and the beautiful words and messages, I really do, but right now, I just can't respond yet. I don't know when I will be able to do art again, or if I will at this point, so this will serve as my final work, my final piece.
I will still continue to run the group, Nick loved it and I will always be here for all of you, but for right now, I just can't talk and the thought of making art again, just makes me even sadder.

While I was making this picture last week I thought of you Nick
and the fight for your life you had. As you can see there is a lot of anger and disbelieve in it... well that was what I tried to put in it, cause I was following Jenn's updates of you and already expected the worst. 5 minutes after I posted this picture, I read the horrible news of your passing. How angry and sad I became. And this pic became even more appropriate. The world lost a beautiful person and a fantastic artist. Its not fair... you were far too young to die. Guess heaven needed more angels,

The Angels were holding an emergency meeting, their football team had just suffered their worst season ever and something had to be done about it. They all agreed that what they really needed was a new coach, but where would they find such a man for they wanted someone who was not only passionate about football, they wanted someone who was also passionate and caring about his fellow man too
They looked down upon the earth and just when they thought their search was hopeless they spotted a likely candidate. In order to find out more about this man, they studied his Deviant Art profile. "Well, he calls himself Shedboy68 and his avatar is a little Chelsea Football Club badge, so there is no doubt that he is a 'true blue football fan' announced one of the Angels. "He certainly is, why even his eyes are blue!" added another with a giggle. "Ah, that is good, but what makes this man perfect for the job is that as well as his passion for football he is also caring and compassionate about his friends too, look how much love, support and encouragement he lavishes upon them and how much they love and respect him in return"
So it was decided that Nick Stone was the man they wanted to be their new coach, but one of the Angels was a little concerned, "But don't you think given how much all his friends love and care about Nick, that to take him away from them would be perhaps a little too cruel, they would miss him terribly" The rest of the Angels turned towards him, but just then the oldest and the wisest amongst them spoke up, "Yes, I do agree, it would be cruel to take this fine man away from his friends, but those same friends I am sure are aware of the fact that Nick has suffered and is in pain so I think it would bring them much comfort to know that with us he will be restored to full health and be able to go back to doing a job that brought him so much pleasure
And so dear friends our darling Nick was summoned to take up his new post as Head Coach of the Angel's football team and yes we are all going to miss him, but as long as we carry the love he gave us in our hearts and carry on creating the art he loved to see and gave us so much support and encouragement with then his spirit will always live on and we will never forget him 
The 15th of August would have been Nick's birthday, so I would like to wish him a very heavenly birthday and if there should be thunder and lightning on that night, don't worry, it will just be Nick's birthday party!

This is my dedicated gift to Nick Stone who passed away on August 2014. I am going to miss him so much. Nick and myself have meet online in deviantART on May 2014. He added me; I visited his gallery & added him back. He is super talented and a very kind friend. We chatted for few months because I am busy with school and Nick is busy. On June 2014, he informed all of his friends that he went to a hospital because he is very sick (as in illness). All of his friends and myself pray day after day and we did not stop. But until July 2014, Nick Stone is cured from the doctors (God bless your doctors) and he is ready to go back home & tell all of his friends that he defeated his illness. But unfortunately, he went back because he has a high fever.
Until early August 2014, my friend Jen gave all of her friends bad news. Nick Stone passed away. All of his online friends, including myself, his offline friends and family are in shocked and we have no words to say. We cried and we......just can't say anything. We will miss him so much and even if we won't be able to see him anymore in this world, we will always support and love him. I love you Nick, and all friends and family will love him forever. May you RIP.

Update Nick Stone Birthday Tribute PLEASE READ!!It took me a few day to let it all sink in but I am ready to talk and to pay my final respects to Nick aka :iconshedboy68: His birthday is August 15th which is next Friday. I want to make a journal and have everyone do an art piece dedicated to Nick with a few sentences of what you remember about him most, some encouraging words he may have said to you or just a simple farewell. I would appreciate it if EVERYONE reading this shares this journal especially in your groups and get the word out. Those who have a lot of followers your help in spreading this would be appreciated.
